The Assassin's Creed Titles You Probably Forgot About

Why We Love Video Games

The reason why we love games....

Video games allow us to become someone else....

While allowing us to become something outside of our normal life......

That is the beautiful part of gaming.

It's hard to find those games that can appeal to the nostalgia personality in me.

But thankfully, I have found a few titles that seem to give me that feeling, even as an older gamer.

Assassin's Creed Titles That I Love

Yes, I became a fan of Assassin's Creed because of these titles.

Mainly because these titles give me the feel of those old Nintendo, Genesis type of view perspectives.

Check out the trailer below from the Ubisoft YouTube Channel.

If you are unfamiliar with these titles, there are three in the series that are called the Assassin's Creed Chronicles.

These games are based in China, India, and Russia.

Not to go into the history of the Assassin's Creed franchise, but these titles were a departure from the norm and a welcome departure in my opinion.

The three games feature the narrative of 3 unique characters:

  • Shao Jun - A former concubine turned assassin that seeks revenge on the Tigers that seek to end the Brotherhood, while contending with the Mongolian invasion toward the Great Wall Of China.
  • Arbaaz Mir - An assassin that is looking to save the love of his life from Templar control while navigating through the war torn environment of India.
  • Nikolai Orelev - An assassin looking to leave the brotherhood until he gets caught into a plot of deception from the brotherhood and the Industrial Revolution in Russia.
These games, for whatever reason, give me that feeling of the 2D perspective that Nintendo games were infamous for.

And the artwork is absolutely wonderful for these games.

While the game is actually in 2.5D, it gives me that Nintendo, early Genesis vibe that keeps me coming back for more.

Here is some gameplay for my favorite of the 3 games, Assassin's Creed Chronicles:China

Conclusion

I am always looking for games that provide me with that feeling of being a child and that can take me back to those games of yesterday.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles do that for me.

Even though some may feel a certain type of way about this, it is what I love and I am glad to have played these titles.

They are for the Xbox and PlayStation.

Click here to get your copy of the trilogy and play today.

Let's continue to enjoy games for what they provide and that is great entertainment.

What's All The Yada About?

The Yada Yada One Of My Favorite Shows Of Seinfeld Yadda Yadda Yadda , I'm really tired today... LOL One of the funniest episodes in my opinion of Seinfeld, the show about nothing.  Just to give you a small briefing on what the show is about: The show revolves around the life of comedian Jerry Seinfeld as he and his friends, George, Elaine, and Kramer navigate through relationships and life situations.  If you have NEVER watched Seinfeld, click HERE to get a special offer.  And it seems that this show has many classic moments.  But one of my favorite (they are all my favorite, but for the sake of this post...) is the Yada Yada episode.  Here is a clip of "The Yada Yada" from the TBS YouTube Channel " Seinfeld " was successful for many reasons but among those is the hilarity it made out of the smallest subjects like a catch phrase.  That is what made the show work so well.  So, do YOU...

Who Is Your Favorite? (The Joker)

Who Is Your Favorite Joker? The Joker The Joker is the quintessential antagonist in the Batman series.  Hilarious but devious.... Charming but conceited.  Such a character is the perfect person that happens to match the dark nature of the Dark Night.  You can say that The Joker has had a bit of a renaissance with the "Joker" movie that came out late last year.  Other portrayals of the Joker The movie has seen its share of success and it is fair to say that this is one of Phoenix's best performances ever.  But, is his portrayal of "The Joker" your favorite? But "The Joker" I know that the movie has less to do with the commonly know villain of the Batman series and more to do with the character of the Joker himself.  But in the essence of the post, who do you like more.  The Joker Films On The Big Screen Let me know in the comments and the choices are.... Jack Nicholson - Batman (1989) ...
